This is an open call to all filmmakers, amateur and professional, with a specific view toward sex and sexuality on film. We are looking for films that centre feminist values, ethical creation, enthusiastic consent, BDSM, queer identity, aging, and anything else from a to z. If your film has something to say about the current state of sex and sexuality, we would love to have a look at it.
We are looking for clips that run under 6 minutes each for a screening in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada for the city’s Nuit Blanche festival. The specific event will be titled “Yes Please”, and will be hosted by pornographer Kate Sinclaire. Conversation of the evening will be centred around sex work as work, performer agency, and sexual pleasure.
Submit a link to a screener for your film to: email@example.com by no later than September 20th, 2017. All performers in submitted films must be aged 18+.
Approved selections will receive confirmation by September 23, 2017. Screening date is September 30th, 2017. If selected, please be ready to submit a downloadable file by September 25th. All films will be credited in a hard copy and digital program.
Yes, Please. In this curated selection of films from filmmakers across the world, conversation will spark. How can adult film be feminist? How does the male gaze dominant the mainstream? What is work? What is labour? What is respect? How can adult film be ethically made? What does pleasure look like? Feel like? Does it matter? To you?
18+ only, drinks by donation.
