Fuze Nuze, July 30th

Hello Fuze friends!

It’s time for me to give you a brief update into the lives of the Fuze team.

I’m the sales lady for Fuze, and I’ve just recently gotten back in the office after being away for my wedding and associated honeymoon. Oooo lala! It was a super great time, I’m happy to be married to a wonderful human being, and the time away was exactly what I needed. 🙂

Hey look, I got married.

Hey look, I got married.

We’ve been hard at work over in Peterborough, Ontario (it’s where Fuze is based!). It’s summer, the heat and humidity are in full force, and we’ve got 4 amazing new designs springing up out of the Canadian mud for you as we move toward fall. What do they look like? Well, I’m sorry, but that’s still a bit of a secret. Suffice it to say, you’re going to like what’s coming. We’ve got a little something for everyone in the new selection, and you won’t be disappointed.

We’ll be unveiling much of this collection at our first-ever trade show! Yes, that’s right, Fuze has gotten this bloody amazing without ever having been to a trade show. Now that our line is becoming fully recognized and our stocks are flowing quickly, it’s time to take our wares to a larger audience. We’ll be posting more about all of the shows that we’ll be attending, but if you have any questions or recommendations on shows we should attend, feel free to leave it in the comments or fire an email to sales@fuzetoys.com.

Wilde says hi from the garden!

A gorgeous Wilde, fresh picked from the garden! 😉

Along with the new toys sprouting up, we’re also right in the middle of harvest time for the owners of the company. When they’re not coming up with new designs or fulfilling orders for shops, they’re out picking heirloom garlic til all hours. Honestly, I don’t think there’s a better way to go through life – sex toys and garlic are among my favourite things in the world, and I imagine I’m not alone in that.

I mean sure, don’t mix them too much maybe?

We’ve also launched our brand new website, for your viewing pleasure. If you’d like to see it, just check out http://www.fuzetoys.com. We’re pretty proud of it, and hope you like it! If you’ve got any feedback for the site, leave it in the comments here!

Hope your day is going great!
Kate

The Fuze Nuze (hah, news)

Fuze has been positively active these last few months. We’re revamping our brand image, we’re introducing new toys, and we’ve expanded to new parts of the world with wholesaling now happening in Japan and Australia. AMAZING.

If you’re not familiar with the brand (yet), here’s the skinny. I’m the sales rep, social media mistress, and lady of many tasks at the company. The owners are Mark and Susan, who are incredibly charming but have less of an online presence. Why, you ask? Because they’re farmers! Correct, when they’re not making toys that are built for and safe for your body, they’re raising sheep and/or growing garlic. Part of working for Fuze means I get to occasionally pop out there, which is always one of the best pleasures. They’re located in Peterborough, Ontario, which is just a bit North of Toronto, for those unaware. Yes, that does mean we’re Canadian! Eh? (that hurt to say)

Anyhow. Mark and Susan are the founders, owners, and overall managers of the company. They’ve been super busy lately working toward the biggest announcements we’ve ever made – which will be officially public in just a few short months! Keep following me here or on twitter (@MsKateSinclaire), or better yet, follow Fuze on twitter (@FuzeSilicone) or even on Facebook. We’re young in the social media world, but we’re working on it. I promise to post things you like!

In December, we introduced Velvet. What’s the story about Velvet? She’s a scaled down version of our larger toy, Alpha. I’ll post pictures to help you out.

This is Alpha, in all its glossy-finish glory, coming in at a lovely total length of 9 1/2″, Insertable length 7 1/2″ , Diameter 1 1/2″

This is Velvet, weighing in at a total length of, 7 3/4 inches, with an insertable length of 5 3/4 inches, and a diameter of 1 inch. Velvet got its name from its beautiful velvety matte finish. *sensuous*

Velvet is great as a pegging toy, or as a toy for people who just don’t like as much girth. It comes in both black and purple (just like all our dildos), and is ah-mazing. If you notice the base of both of the dildos in the picture above, you’ll notice that they’re ridged. Why, you ask? For strap on joy, I inform! We’re actually the only company in the world presently paying attention to the wearer in strap on play. All our toys are vibe compatible, with the little vibe hole hiding just at the base of the toy, under the ridged base. Brilliant, no?

The world seems to have caught on to Fuze after the release of Velvet. We actually had a bit of an interesting time keeping it in stock, but have *just* kept up with the orders. Phew!

We manufacture our silicone by injection to the highest of standards, and have put more R&D into the products that go into your body than you could possibly imagine (unless you’re in the business of making safe toys – then you know just how much work it entails to ensure quality from steps 1-1000).

Now that I’ve told you about all of this, I can tell you where to pick up these lovely little pieces of art online.

The Pleasure Chest
Come As You Are
Good For Her
Deep Stealth Dungeon
Early To Bed
and more!

If you’d rather see them IRL before you buy, head down to your local sex positive shop and check them out! If the shop isn’t carrying Fuze yet, plead them to carry them! More folks should have access to amazing body safe toys. 🙂

AND! There will be more news about the butt plugs soon! Because honestly, they’re the best.

I’m on my way!

I’ve left the beautiful springy weather in Winnipeg for different pastures for the weekend! I’m presently sitting in Toronto in an airport lounge, waiting to board at flight to Washington, DC, for Catalyst Con. So many amazing talks to attend, people to meet, connections to make, and things to experience.

It’s so incredibly important to me that this event gets put on twice a year, and especially that it alternates between East and West coasts. Catalyst Con West tends to take place in/around LA, whereas Catalyst Con East takes place in Washington, DC. Rather, Arlington, VA – which is across the bridge from the big ol’ policy hill. This ensures that once a year, people from either coast are better able to make it out to the event. It’s little considerations like this that help it to be a successful event. Not to mention the attention to accessibility, and the community base that helps travellers connect with people to split hotel costs.

The event is really like no other. The atmosphere is positively.. Sex positive. In my personal, day to day life, I have a lot of non-queer cisfolk around me who have never had their ideas challenged. I do a lot of educating in my day to day life. I do a lot of tiptoeing, a lot of trying to make sure people don’t get mad at me when they use a slur (it’s essential to me as a cis queer femme-y lady in a hetero relationship that I stand up and be an ally in conversation so that I can stop the aggressions before they fall on the ears of someone whose lifestyle/entire life is being shit on because I have the privilege of having the world mostly cater to my ass). But at Catalyst Con? We’re cool. Suddenly I’m immersed in a space made of fucking sex positive fairy dust and happiness.

And the people! The people! From presenters to attendees, everyone in the building is top notch. I’ve met so many people in just one conference that I can now think of as my ccon friendsies. There are too many to name – I’d be afraid of leaving someone out. It’s seriously the kind of environment you can walk into as a sex positive educator/sex worker/blogger/whatever, and feel totally welcome.

Is that a great accidental PSA for ccon or what?

I can’t wait. Hope my flight stays on time!
